ISRO (Indian space research organisation) had a fantastic year in 2018 & with 2019 they have also got some big plans, they have already completed their first mission in 2019 by launching
PSLV-C44 at 23:37Hrs(IST) on January 24, 2019 from the First Launch Pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR,Sriharikota in its 46th flight.
On April 1,2019 the PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) on it's 47th mission will launch EMISAT & 28 other satellites from other international customers including Spain(1), Lithuania(2), USA(24) &Switzerland(1) at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota at 0930 hours as scheduled keeping in mind the weather conditions.
A/C to ISRO satellite weighs around 436 kg & is intended for electromagnetic spectrum measurement. PSLV will firstly put the satellite into 749 km orbit, after which rocket will bring down the satellites to 504 km. In the fourth stage rocket will be brought down to 485 km down to carry three experimental payloads which are :
